Life often is a cruel teacher.... we suffer lessons which can make us strong....if we learn and remember them. Sadly , many people , like myself , have short memories and make the same mistake again.
This painting is allegorical. I have done much sailing in dreadful weather on the ocean and risky situations are not rare. However, some of my greatest mishaps were far from the ocean.
In life , I have rescued many....and I have been rescued. Maybe you will see a parallel in your life , if you think about it....
