My Happy Place

Tasmania has many fantastic waterways. This one is from Lake Pedder in the South - West of the state.

Most people only ever see the 50 km long lake from the shoreline near Strathgordon. I usually take my sea kayak or boat and explore the region for a week at a time, camping on various deserted quartzite shores.

I have visited many times and have camped in at least 30 different beaches, coves or islands over the years.
